All Blue: The legendary sea that Sanji is looking for. Supposedly it contains every kind of fish from all over the world.

Beli: The type of currency that is used in the series.

Devil Fruit (or Evil Fruit): They are 108 cursed fruits referred to as the treasure of the sea. Anyone who eats one will gain a special ability, (example: Luffy is a rubber human) but lose their ability to swim because the sea does not like people eating its treasure. They all have double names according to what they do (example: Gomu Gomu Fruit. Gomu means rubber).

Going Merry: The ship that Luffy and crew travel on through all their adventures. It is a caravel given to them by Usopp’s friend Kaya.

Gold Roger: The legendary Pirate King who started the pirate age. Just before he died he said that all his treasure in all in “One Piece” somewhere on the Grand Line. This started the mad rush of pirates swarming to Grandline. Another interesting fact is that his full name is Gol D. Roger, and Luffy also has D. for a middle initial, as do some other characters. Some people have mentioned something about “the will of the Ds” . . .Interesting.

Grand Line: The “Pirates Graveyard” to some and “Paradise” to others, it is supposedly where One Piece is located. The reason why it is so dangerous is due to the fact it is located in between two seas no normal form of navigation can be used. You have to obtain a “Log Post” or “Eternal Post” to navigate the Grand Line.

Log Post: The only form of navigation on Grand Line, shaped like a compass. They have to memorize the way to the next island so they can only travel to one island at a time, and it takes a different amount of time to memorize the way on each island. There are also Eternal Posts, which always point the way to one particular island.

One Piece: The legendary treasure left behind by Gold Roger, which is probably worth more than you can imagine. It is supposedly located somewhere on Grand Line and the pirate who finds it will become Pirate King.

Pirate King: Gold Roger was the last Pirate King and anyone who finds One Piece will inherit all his fame and fortune and become the next Pirate King.

Seven Armed Seas: Seven former pirates that are backed by the government. They are incredibly strong and are allowed to steal from other pirates and anywhere in Grand Line as long as they give some back to the government. Some of the few known ones include Mihawk, who is a master swordsman; Crocodile, who resides in Alabasta; and Jinbei, a mermaid. The other 4 have not yet been introduced.
