Well the most obvious trait of Luffy’s appearance, that will allow you to recognize him from far away, is of course his straw hat. It’s just a plain old straw hat that has a red ribbon around the center. It is probably very beat up from all that it has gone through and has had to be repaired before. Also on the inside in a blank piece of paper given to Luffy by Ace, which is supposed to be important, that he had Nami sew on his hat.

Physically Luffy is very tall and lean. This is probably due to the fact that he is always stretching out his body. Though after a big meal he has quite a large stomach.

One of his main facial features is his scar under his left eye. It is really just a horizontal line with two other lines intersecting it, but it serves it’s purpose. He has messy black hair and though his eyes are only dots I’m assuming they are black. He usually goes around with a huge grin that covers most of his face, but when he gets angry or serious he can look pretty scary.

As for his clothing, you can usually find Luffy wearing a red tank top that has yellow buttons down the center. He is usually wearing cutoff at the knees jeans, though the color on them varies. He completes this outfit with a pair of sandals (flip-flop style). In recent chapters he has taken to wearing a big red cape. Also during the Alabasta arch he wears a cape to protect from the sun.

Overall Luffy has a pretty laid back and cool style. I think he is incredibly cute with his goofy grin and the way he does things. But that is just a fangirl’s ramblings. Anyway, this was an extremely pointless page, you may continue with your viewing.
