Zaraki was raised in the slums of Soul Society, and used to be a wandering murderer. He is now Captain of the 11th division of Soul Society, which is the infantry. Zaraki fits his post perfectly, for he is the strongest and most bloodthirsty of the captains, and is always looking for a good fight - which he soon finds in Ichigo.
