Ganju is Kuukaku and Kaien's brother. He is still sore about his brother's murder and is determined to find the female shingami he saw murder him. He agrees to go with Ichigo and crew into Soul Society at his sister's bidding, and turns out to be a very resourceful and loyal companion.
